I was all about art when I was a kid; creating it, looking at it and collecting it. While in school, I proclaimed my career path would be in art. When I entered my teenage years I discovered music and I acquired a passion for it. I soon began forming bands, performing around town and ultimately doing some touring of the states.

During this time I also worked in restaurants, starting as a dishwasher and working my way up through the ranks eventually to “Kitchen Manager.”
Restaurant work merely paid the rent while awaiting “Rock Stardom,” But that day never came and life catches up with you. I needed a more steady income than the ‘on-again, off-again’ musicians lifestyle could afford.

This is when I started thinking about food and managing people in a creative light. Ultimately, I made the unconscious transition from “Kitchen Manager” to “Chef.”
These days I enjoy the process of cultivating a learning environment where we take care of our guests and each other in this restaurant lifestyle.
While I’m not in the restaurant, I’m out exploring the world with my beautiful wife, Danielle and my three fantastic kids, Jamus, Jayna and Jessa.
